Help:User groups

This page describes the user groups which are relevant for the regular audience and the users of dermoscopedia academy.

1. User – Can perform basic tasks like editing pages and uploading files. The respective person must confirm her or his e-mail-address.
2. Author – Can perform the same tasks and have the same permissions like "Users".
   Additionally they do not have to solve CAPTCHAs and are allowed to see the link to the latest revision of a page. Furthermore their edits are being patrolled automatically.
3. Editor – Can perform the same tasks and have the same permissions like "Authors".
   Additionally they are allowed to assign page owners and page editors. They are also allowed to approve edits. Furthermore their edits are being approved automatically. Their task is to assist the coordinators of dermoscopedia academy in their basic work of monitoring the work of the "Users" and "Authors".
4. Coordinator – Can perform the same tasks and have the same permissions like "Editors".
   Additionally they can perform many more actions relating to the operation for this website. Furthermore they are involved in the conceptual work and general operation of dermoscopedia academy.
